skid 2

Acrylic on Vinyl Banner / 72” x 48” / 2025

Skid 2 continues the use of the car tire as both tool and mark, treating printmaking as an act of movement rather than control. The surface builds through repeated passes, where direction, overlap, and pressure create a shifting network of lines that feel both structured and unstable. Each imprint carries the weight of contact, allowing the composition to emerge through accumulation rather than intention. The piece holds tension between repetition and variation, where the act of making remains visible in every mark.
