Acrylic and Ink on Paper / 22” x 28” / 2025
Rerun reflects on leisure through repetition, using the act of sitting as both rest and routine. Set within a black and white field built from the repeated stamping of the word repeat, the surface mirrors cycles of passive consumption and time spent returning to the same place. The chair becomes a site of comfort that is revisited again and again, where relaxation begins to blur into habit. The background was created using a self inking stamp, building density through accumulation, while the painted form sits within it as both participant and observer of the loop.
